I was full of accolades for you a couple months ago, but now I am left wondering what happened.
When you were getting bad press and negative social media coverage you were my best friends. Now your silence is deafening.
My driveway still looks like a gravel pit. No matter how many flowers I plant in my yard, the focal point is still my crumbling driveway. I was told you were going to fix the driveways in the spring, but I haven’t heard another word since.
I forgot to mention that my outdoor water faucets are so loose, I think they are going to break completely off and my garage door sensors have never worked during the summers. I guess I forgot these items because it was winter when we did the walk through.
Also, my back porch has not been painted and the fireplace was not finished.
Where are you Poli Peters? Did you forget about me?
Signed,
Abandoned and Confused

This is how Richmond American operates. They promised me things for two years. Then they’d fire people, get new people or employees would quit because they were tired of working for such a bunk company. Empty promises is the name of the Richmond game.
When I last talked to Kevin a few weeks ago, I asked him about the driveways. What I was told was that they were doing a development in Ogden, then one in Tooele, then us. So, when I tried to pin him down for a date, he said possibly by the end of May they could be starting on the driveways. I will believe it when I see it. I am tempted to go to Tooele to see if they have started out there…. Or we could go down to Silver Lake, where Richmond just built another model home, and ask them!
Yes. I enjoyed having heat in my room when they put insulation in over our bedroom…but I still have the San Andreas Fault on my kitchen counter…Whether it’s plumber’s crack, or a crack in your countertop, crack is WHACK!!
@Russ: You told me so. I remember writing the post on Richmond American Mending Their Ways and you tweeted me telling me not to celebrate yet. You were right, darn it.
@Katrina: Whenever you are ready to take a drive to Toole, count me in. I would love to do a little door knocking. I might have a video camera with us, too.
@Laura: Crack IS whack! That is horrible. If you want to take a sad picture by your counter, I will post it by my driveway photo.
OR- we could make a quick video and place it on Youtube.
I agree Lori and thanks for your post. We too are still waiting to have our driveway replaced – my kids just about take a header when they’re riding their scooter and go from the slab that has sunk to the next slab that is about 2″ higher. And we’ll see if the painters show up today with the right color to repaint my ceiling.
Poli called me and let me know that they will start our driveways in July.
Well- that isn’t quite spring, but I will take what I can get.
Here’s hoping!
I am soooo done with Richmond. We have been so patient and have tried to be nice and have gotten no where. With all the attention you brought things were starting to look up and they were actually giving us the time of day, but now nothing! We were supposed to be getting our driveway fixed along with everyone else but I found out we are not on any list to get it done. We have emailed and called numerous people and surprise, surprise, NO RESPONSE! Again there are promises to fix things with no follow through! We still have a list of things that they promised again this time to have fixed right away and nothing. Sorry to vent to you, but I’m so mad!
